Welcome, stranger, to Deadlock Rebel, a dedication to the outlaw Elizabeth Caledonia Ashe from the FPS game Overwatch and its successor, Overwatch 2. Hero twenty nine, Ashe debuted at Blizzcon 2018 following her reveal in the animated short Reunion as a mid-range hitscan dps. In the intervening years she has become my absolute favourite dps to play and arguably my main... I always liked playing her, but it was honestly sniping as Shepard in Mass Effect: Legendary when something suddenly clicked and I was able to start hitting things. It's been a long hard road on a controller, but I'd like to think I'm half-way decent at playing her.

Otherwise, Ashe is one of my favourite characters ever. There's something about an aggressive outcast cowgirl with a found family who's had to claw tooth and nail for everything she has that speaks to a person - and the explosions and dynamite and heists are an added bonus.
